Our Right angle PCB connectors are a type of electrical connector for various components that connect at a 90-degree angle on a printed circuit board (PCB).

Right angle PCB connectors offer a solution for designs that require a 90 degree exit. This is typically to a panel or enclosure. These connectors allow the PCB signals to exit parallel to the surface of the boards. Winchester's Micro-D PCB product offering has several right angle through hole PCB connectors. Micro-D Combo series connectors are the perfect choice when packaging power or coax with signal contacts is needed. Right angle PCB metal shell Micro-D Combo connectors are available in many configurations up to 10 coax or 65 signal positions. Our power contacts are rated to 10 amps and our coax contacts have a 35 Ohm impedance which is suitable for lower frequencies (<2 Ghz). We are proud to offer a unique construction of the Winchester Nano-D SMT right angle connectors. These connectors are unavailable elsewhere in the market. Hand soldering or the usage of a hot bar typically results in low production rates and diminished quality control. We offer a solution to these issues with our innovative design. Our proprietary design and manufacturing processes enable us to offer a flat lead contact design. We use a single-piece stamped and formed contact. This design offers superior results with soldering, reliability, and functionality for our surface mount right angle connections.

With this Winchester Interconnect Micro unique design, we set the standard for coplanarity to the lowest tolerances. Coplanarity refers to the positioning of a lead relative to another and this is a concern to ensure reliable connections. From a single piece of metal, our design is stamped and formed which eliminates most of the production variability from using a bus wire in a surface mount Nano-D. Our strip series connectors have been the perfect solution for space constrained applications. Our Micro strip series utilizes the same contact system of our M38513 connectors. This is similar for our Nano strip series contact system and M32139 QPL connectors.
